NOMENCLATURE:Traditionally most of the cultivars are placed under N. strumosa. Some consider N. fruticans to be correct for N. strumosa but this does not seem warranted to date. Some of them are probably hybrids to N. versicolor. A good taxonomic review of the modern cultivars is in order, particularly as they are such useful and increasingly popular plants.
